Yesterday we had a 2:00 shoot so we got to sleep late. Thank God. Anyway, yesterday we had one on one interviews and group interviews. The group interviews seemed to break the ice and make the people and us from other groups more comfortable around each other.

The interviews that we got are all I think going to have a big impact on the teens that will watch them. They were all from real stories so I think coming from real teens it will have a bigger affect and impact on youth.

I personally learned a lot from yesterday’s shoot. I had a better understanding of what a real shoot was to look like. I was a little intimidated the first few days because I came into a surrounding where I everybody already knew how to set up a tripod, direct, use the camera. etc, etc. but I was happy to see that everybody was friendly and willing to teach or help. I’m still learning everyday from each experience but I realize that there are people who have been in the program for years and are still learning. The way I look at it is that everyday is a learning experience and hopefully I can come back to Jeter’s leaders and teach them what I’ve learned here.
